To improve the standard of umpiring in the state.
To enhance the knowledge level, understanding of the Laws of Cricket.
Uniform interpretation and application of laws of Cricket and GCA – Framed norms for specific tournament.
Better control and smooth conduct of the matches.
Conduct Umpires’ examination for GCA.
Assist the Gujarat Cricketers of all age group in acquiring knowledge and interpretation of Laws and BCCI domestic playing conditions.
To assist / extend expertise to other needy BCCI affiliated Associations.
